Thomas Vircks

Graduated from WLC in 1983. Working as an Administrative Assistant at St. Peter's (8th & Scott). Also play clarinet in Letter Carriers Band, Greendale Village Concert Band and Greendale German Band. Traveled with Letter Carriers Band to New Orleans (1990) and Atlantic City, NJ (1994).

My home church (St. John's, 68th & Forest Home) dedicated its' new Welcome Center last June.

Just this month (11/09), saw one-time fellow Wisco band member Vicki Provencher sing. She is awesome!

I remember all 4 Summer Band camps-especially June of '78 when we went to Iowa-I was probably the only band member not bothered by the cockroaches. I also recall our brass and drum sections had some funny characters as well. We took a 1st Place in a parade in Webster City, IA on that '78 trip-the atmosphere was so relaxed going into that one--very little pressure. Still going on my clarinet!--April of 2010, played pre-service music at St. Peter's (8th & Scott) 150th Anniversary Service!
