David Jorgensen

Since parting ways with The KIDS From Wisconsin in 2009, I have continued to play the trumpet originally as a music performance major at The University of Wisconsin, and now as a hobby. I switched my major to Textile and Apparel design during my sophomore year and finished my degree in Spring 2014. I moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama where I co-founded a company called Salix Technologies, as Chief Creative Director. I then moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. I now live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Starting a company to bring a local beer to market after 25 years of production in one facility based in Duluth, MN.

KIDS was one of the best times and opportunities, and I enjoyed it very much! Music has been and continues to be a large part of my identity, and I am always proud to tell people about my time in KIDS. I feel as though it helped me to become the person I am today, and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome from such an amazing experience. Not to mention how much fun it is to keep up with my fellow alumni with their amazing and fantastic careers!
