Reunion book Bio (300 word limit)
What has happened the last 50 years? I attended the University of Minnesota and even went to the Rose Bowl game we won! Responding to an ad in the Minnesota Daily for a job parttime school year and fulltime summer work. I applied and have been working at AAA Minneapolis since the fall of 1960.
I married Carl Mackdanz from Glencoe, MN in 1964 and we have two great daughters (Susan & Molly both RHS graduates) proud grandparents of three.
I served as PTA President of Howe School for five years and active city wide with school committees, and worked hard for the new Roosevelt football field. I was elected to the Minneapolis School board in 1984 serving four years.
I was co-chairman of the Hiawatha Avenue Task force for the City of Minneapolis. Nearly forty years after the first house was removed, Hiawatha Avenue was finally redesigned/rebuilt and with Light Rail Transit.
As each year past we enjoyed many things and are grateful for family and friends. We look forward to the years ahead knowing that each day is a very special day.
