I went on to Tech school for a year plus, in machine shop and metal arts. I then went to work at a cafe and a hotel as a salad cook and steam table cook.
Then I went to work as a machine operator at a lumber company.
In 1961 I married Donna Lundberg. We had a daughter Doretta Jean and a son Scott James. We separated and the divorce was final in 1973
By then I was working as a machine operator in Rosemount.
I met and married my current wife of 35 yrs, Helen Bowes in 1974.
We raised my daughter Dori and Helen's daughter Suzanne and our Korean son James Michael.
My son Scott, I saw every other weekend for his growing up years.
We have seven grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.
I worked 26 yrs at Burlington Northern Santa Fe R.R. and retired in 1999-2000.
We then moved to Vancouver WA with our 2 daughters and have been here 10 yrs.
