This is a sad day. Gene has been a great friend since we meet in our sophomore year. Over the years we have enjoyed many memorable moments together. These past few years especially have been valued, as a small group of RHS long time friends would meet regularily and continued to build on our special friendship. Those hours of mutual support and laughter have been invaluable. We will miss Gene's quick wit and intellect.
God bless you Geno.

Gene was a good freind from way back to the Fiftys...and "The Only Voice of Reason " on some Friday and saturday evenings when we were " bullet Proof "" Teeny boppers ! Our once a month poker games gave him the 60's handle " Maverick " as Geno could play a pair of duces like they were a full house. The Angels love a poker player ....and now they have one of the best. Were gonna miss you Gene

Always sad to lose another classmate. I believe if memory serves me correctly, i knew Gene back to Hiawatha school. If not, it certainly was Sanford. Another nice guy is gone. My condolences to his family.

Gene was a great friend. He lived about two blocks from me, so that is how we met. Hiawatha, Sanford, and then Roosevelt. He was a great guy, and very funny. Lost a good person. Sending prayers to his family.
