Chatras, Melanie E. Age 68, of Bloomington, passed away Dec. 26, 2010 at home with family by her side. Preceded in death by mother and stepfather, Gladys and Lowell Hanson; father, Melton Skalland; infant nephew, Steven. Survived by husband of 53 years, Edmund; son, Michael (Pam); daughter, Kimberly (Tim) DeVries; grandchildren, Nicole, Sam and Chad; great-grandson, Luke; sisters, Betty Simensen (Tom) and Mary Copple (Clayton); other family and friends. Memorial service Fri., Jan. 7, 2011 at 6:30 PM at First Memorial Edina Chapel, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina (952-924-4900). Visitation one hour before and after service.
