With permission from Jerry Brunskill, here's an excerpt from Jerry's Facebook post on July 2, after Dale's passing:

"A song is a painting to me, I think certain colors work well together. Sometimes I'll visualize colors in a song, like a mood", Dale once told Jerry, Dale's long time business partner.

According to Jerry, "Dale was hyper-intelligent, had a razor sharp wit and a gigantic vocabulary. Dale was honest, kind, humble, self-deprecating, friendly, funny, and talented beyond measure. You couldn't miss these things if you had the privilege of knowing him, they poured from him naturally.  He was the genuine article, a no BS kind of guy who was universally loved by everyone he met. 

To all that had the privilege to know him and even to those that didn't, I'd like to share a simple reminder in his memory - don't let the moments pass you by.  These are the only moments we have left."

Dale was one-of-a kind and we will all miss him dearly.
