August '61 — January '21 Our Jonny has left us—after a valiant struggle against a relentless cancer. Too soon, at 59, too unfair to all of us who deeply loved him. He didn't build a skyscraper or find a cure for the common cold. He was just an honorable and kind man, and that was all anyone has to be. Now forever together with his beloved Grandpa Lou smoking a good cigar. Survived by daughters, Laura (Nicolas Phillips), Madeline; son, Jacob; former wife, Jill; mother, Margie Zats; brothers, William (Nancy) and Randall (Ellen Hertz).
