John, Steven Francis Age 45, Los Angeles, CA; formerly Minneapolis, MN, passed away May 5, 2014. He was born on December 7, 1950 to Ronald and Maritta John. He attended school at Christ the King Catholic Grade School, Southwest High School, the University of Minnesota and MCTC. Survived by wife, Allison Moore; son, Matthew; parents, Ronald and Maritta John; brother, David (Teresa) John; sisters, Mary John, Michele (Phil) Kelaart, Meg (Joe) Van Sloun; nephews and nieces, Anthony, Pedro, J.P., Kate & Shanthi. Steve was a graduate of the U of M, a registered nurse & a teacher dedicated to his profession and students at The American Career College, Los Angeles, CA. Steve was humble, unassuming and had a heart of gold. He went out of his way to make everyone he met feel special. He was also a very talented and patient teacher and mentor. Steve made a difference in many lives and passed away too young. He was well loved and has made a lasting imprint on the lives of so many. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM, Monday May 19, at Christ The King Catholic Church, 5029 Zenith Ave So, Minneapolis. Visitation at 10:00 AM.
