Karen E. Swing
Swing, Karen E. age 65, of St. Louis Park, passed away on September 20, 2016 after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer. Preceded in death by her parents and sister. Survived by husband of 41 years, Brian; son, John (Brier); daughter, Katie (Brian); 3 grandchildren, Anja, Aleisa and Liam; sister, Mary and many other relatives and dear friends. A celebration of her life will be 5-8 pm, Thursday, Sept. 29 at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave. S., Edina 952-924-4100.

I did not know Karen well in high school, but became friends much later when she married Brian Swing, my brothers best friend. Karen kept me posted on all the goings on from high school, that is why i joined this site today 3/11/2018. I would rather still get my info from Karen, she is and will always be missed.
Laurie Longeway (Reinertsen)
Karen and I lived about a block apart and met everyday to walk to junior high together. We lost touch after high school and was looking forward to seeing her. Very shocked that she is gone and it truly touched my sister and I who enjoyed her dearly as young people.
