Spector, Paula age 63 of New York City passed away, September 6, 2014, after courageously battling a long illness. She was born to Reuben R. Spector, businessman and attorney and Mary Bassin Spector. Paula was a resident of New York City. She received her BA in Art History at New York University and her Master's degree from the NYU School of Social Work, followed by completing her Post-Graduate degree from the Fifth Avenue Center for Psychotherapy. She then went on to establish an extensive private psychotherapy practice in Greenwich Village. Paula was a resident for 9 years in a Seminar which she organized with Martin S. Bergmann, a prominent psychoanalyst. She shared her love and passion for New York City with her many friends and family members. Paula is survived by her sister Jill Spector of New York City; brother Barry Spector and his partner Sara Fagin of Minneapolis. She will be deeply missed.
