Leann Wittenberg Dauer

I lived on a wheat farm in Havre, MT from 1982-1989 at which time we moved to Phoenix. I lived there until I moved back to the Northwest to Okanogan WA to be near my twin, Lori, following my divorce. We always got back to Missoula and Flathead Lake where the rest of our family has always lived.

I've been an obstetrical nurse for 22 years with Peds/Med-Surg prior to OB. I can't believe that. It's been a great job seeing babies born and having the responsibility and privilege to help parents during labor. I now am the manager or OB Coordinator of our OB Dept in WA. It's a good job the aging OB nurse!

I'm still trying to decide what my next adventure in life will be. I'd like to work with animals!

Let's see. I loved Hellgate and have so many wonderful memories.

Peggy Brown and I having our own kegger! She was a bad influence! We had so many good times no matter what we did. Have you seen that girl waterski!? Trying not to crack up giggling while holding hands with Ed Tabish while singing love songs in Choraliers. I think Joanna Gustufson made us all holds hands!!

Lori and I loved Choraliers and Valkyries drill team. Many good memories. I had the privilege of marching with Hellgate Marching Band and Valkyries in the Rose Bowl Parade my sophmore year in Pasadena. Lotsa fun despite the bloody feet from marching in those boots. It was nice always having my twin sister there to keep me in line!(Ha!)

Never will forget "Scotty" Klaudt scratching my back in the cafeteria. He was my friend and didn't care what other's thought. If I whined enough he would break down......miss him so much.
