School Story:
I came to WHS when it first opened in 1979 and remained there until 2003. One of my favorite memories happened when I was teaching my marine biology class. After viewing a film with the lights out, the lights were turned on and I noticed a student, Ms. Lartigue, was asleep. It was close to bell time, so I told the students not to wake her. When the bell sounded the students quietly left the room and Allison never stirred. Since I was off at 6yh period, I simply turned the lights off, closed the door and left the room. Allison would certainly learn not to sleep in my class. I don't know when she awkkoe, but the next day she had the class in stitches telling how she had missed most of her 6th period class and that we all were wrong for letting her sleep. Needless to say, she never went to sleep in my class again.
