2015

DETAILS

Can you believe our next reunion marks 30 years out of high school?!?!  Allow me to quote Marty.... good gawd!!! As a class, we voted to have our class reunions on the 4th weekend of July every five years.   So..............................

Our next reunion is tentatively scheduled to be JULY 24-25, 2015!!

Now... NOT to mention any names... that should give you plenty of time to plan your: accepting transfers and moving to different states (Brian J, Reed, and Jim H), planning a camping trip (Tami K) going to a concert (Travis), thinking ya gotta get home to take care of your dog (Rich - that's just plain lame!), or just leaving early (as usual, Greg - what's up w that??) around a date that has been set FIVE (5!) YEARS IN ADVANCE!!!!

Now, for those of you who opted not to attend our 25 year reunion after saying you would or just plain decided not to come for whatever reason, you missed ONE HELLUVA REUNION!  Seriously!  We couldn't have had more fun if we tried... the food both evenings (catered by Becky Reisig Tower and Kyle Haberman) was A-MA-ZING!!!!!  My mouth still waters just thinking about it... But, best of all, we had more love and laughter going on that entire wknd compared to ANY other reunion we have EVER had, bar none.  We had reunion "newbies" who had never attended a reunion until now make it... Scott Rogers, Brittan Carrier, Bobby Beebe, Lisa Meyer, Lynn Bolzer, Carrie Medina, and Sheri Oliver... As one who has made it to every reunion, or ask any who have made it to the previous two, there was a different atmosphere there from the start... we knew the weekend would fly by, and it did... it was a sad night on Saturday to see everyone go their separate ways again... yet with the optimistic hope that in five years not only would we have the same people show, but to have the entire class make it.

A big thank you to everyone who posted pictures so that the time we spent together can be shared.  I used some pics from everyone, and left out "copy-cat" pics.  I apologize in advance of any pics people didn't want posted, but to add some and not others would not tell the whole story...

I realize in retrospect of this past wknd that we belong to each other.  At the end of the day, I know in my heart that we have each other's backs... that regardless of time and space, we're still doing it our way... and we continue to share the unique bond that made us who we were... we are the MITCHELL HIGH SCHOOL CLASS OF 1985.

With lots and lots of love,

Michelle
