WP Davidson High School Class of 1974 40th Reunion
Hi Everyone,
Can you believe 40 years ago this month we walked across the stage at the Civic Center & Mr Black handed us our Diploma's. It is so hard for me to think of being that age. To me I am still that 17 year old, but my body tells me otherwise.
I did want to bring you up to date on our plans.
The reunion will be September 26 & 27, 2014. Friday night is still to be determined, due to a schedule change, but we are working on it. Saturday from 1:00 PM till 10:00 PM we will have a Beach Party at Pirates Pleasure on Dauphin Island. It will be a fun filled day to enjoy old friends.
There are places to stay on the Island or if you want to camp out. There is a place for that. Some of you may want to go together and rent a condo or apartment. We want as many people to come back as can. If you know of someone on the list of missing, please contact them & let them know. If they are not on the list I can add them. Let me know.
I know you are wondering the cost for the weekend:
Friday Night will be $15.00 per person - will include Hor dors, & set ups it is BYOY. If you would like to volunteer your place for this event let me know.
Saturday will be $25.00 per person - will include boiled shrimp with corn & potatoes, BBQ chicken, Whole roasted Pig, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Baked beans, Snacks, Soft drinks, Tea & Water. You may purchase alcoholic drinks there Beer $2.00, Mixed drinks $3.00 and Speciality drinks $5.00. You may not bring any alcoholic beverages in with you.
Tee-shirt will be $10.00 to 12.00 per person. - Sm thru XL $10.00 and 2XL & up $12.00.
You have you choice of what you want to do. If you only come Friday night by yourself it would be $15.00. If you want to do all 3 it would be $50.00. If you bring a guest for all 3 it would be $100.00. If you brought a guest Friday night & not Saturday & did not want a tee-shirt it would be $55.00. You see where I am getting all of this. Please prepay. Either by Paypal or mail a check to me made out to WPD Class of 74. My address is Darlene Chavers 9535 Seymour Ct Mobile, Al 36695 I need to to have at least 80 people come on Saturday and 40 of you prepay by June 10, 2014. I have to give Pirates Pleasure half of what we will own them by June 15, 2014.
What we need from you is to let us know what you will be attending and how many people. Also get us your money ASAP!!!!!
