While checking the memorials I saw that Carolyn passed away. My belated condolences to her family. She was loved by all and a credit to Davidson and the University. If I could be at the reunion, I'd ask the band to play "Color My World" in her memory and try to imagine her doing the flute solo.

Len, that was a beautiful tribute you left to Carolyn! She was a very special lady.
I was thinking about her last week and am saddened to see her listed her. She was such a sweet person & fun to be around. I was so surprised, shocked & proud to see my high school friend reporting on the national news one day when I was traveling for business. I can't even remember what city I was in because it was 40 years ago, but it could well have been in Washington, DC, because I saw on her profile that she last worked in Public Relations at the Smithsonian. Hometown girl makes it big! So proud of her & to have called her my friend! My condolences & prayers for her family. She was quite a force. She left her mark. 🩷
