MOCKSVILLE - Ms. Angela Dawn Brown, 40, of Hwy 601 S., died Saturday, July 30, 2011, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice and Palliative Care. She was born Feb. 25, 1971, in Rowan County, to Linda and Joe Brown. Ms. Brown was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church of Coolemee and taught school at Fall Creek Elementary in Yadkinville. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, and the beach. Ms. Brown enjoyed very much spending time with people, especially niece and nephew Claire Grace and Caleb Wallace, her pride and joy.

Survivors include her parents Linda and Joe Brown; godparents, George and Delores Jordan of Coolemee; sister Kelli (Jeff) Wallace of Mocksville; aunts, Margie Dedmon of Coolemee, Sylvia Reavis of Siler City; numerous friends, cousins and special friend Phillip Hutchens of Yadkinville.

Service: A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 1 at Victory Baptist Church in Coolemee with Rev. Shelby Harbour and Eddie Venable officiating. Visitation will follow in fellowship hall.
