January, 2015 Rusty and I celebrate 46 years married.

I spent many years at home raising our girls while Rusty started his own company which he still owns, Kars Leasing. I worked at Marco for 15 years in sales. I travelled for my work, Rusty travels to play tournament Senior Softball and we travel together whenever possible.

Our children are settled and happy, living in Chicago. We welcomed our grandson, Henry, on 7/11/09. He is the light of our lives. We enjoy including Henry on our travels. Last year (November 2013) we bought a condo in Chicago to be near our family.

Retirement agrees with me! Rusty still works but gets away more often and easily than he did during the last 35 years while building the business. I've certainly enjoyed reconnecting with old friends and meeting new ones.

MHS holds a special place in my heart. I remember how we rocked Wharton Field House (miss that now), how much we all loved to dance (right?), and how truly innocent we were. Friends were everything, music was central and we had FUN. We had some pretty special teachers, especially Mr. Dye. All that school spirit was infectious and a wonderful thing we shared.

Since I retired I have been attended the monthly Ladies Lunch for ‘66 gals. I met a whole new group of women I did not know when we were girls! That has been an absolute treat.

Rusty and I celebrated 50 years married last month. We are planning a month long trip as soon as we decide where we want to go. We already have visited Ireland and Italy.
