Hats off to Tracy and Chris for a job well done. The website is awesome. Like a lot of people, I can't stop checking in and seeing if anyone new has posted pics, etc. It's been fun to see what everyone has been doing. Can it really be 25 years? Hard to believe. My parents still live in the QC, so we get back a few times a year. Took the wife and kids to Whitey's (a must) on the way back and we drove around MHS and looked at the baseball fields. It might have been the first time back at the school since graduation. Got me sentimental, so I dusted off the senior yearbook and started remembering a lot of lost memories. Looking forward to catching up next month.

Tracy Burdick...here here!!! The committee has worked hard to make this a memorable event and we can't do it without the participation of our classmates. This party is for YOU!!! Those of you who were at the 20th 5 years ago remember, I'm sure, how much fun that was....so let's do it again and make the 25th even better!!

Thank you, Tracy & Chris. None of this would have been possible without your dedication and hard work. As for the dinner/dance, I too would like to encourage everyone to attend. I have been fortunate enough to attend a couple of our past reunions, including the 20th. While the other events are a lot of fun, it is the dinner/dance that is the real highlight of the weekend. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone. I have a lot of fond memories of Moline and MHS, and I get back often to see family and friends... and eat. Moline still has some of the best food and ice cream in the country, but the beer selection tends to be pretty bad, so if you could work on that...

Brian and I are looking forward to the upcoming weekend! We will keep checking the site for updates! Looking forward to seeing everyone...sure hope we have name tags!

How come some of the profiles have our yearbook pics and some don't? Just curious. Is that something I add myself? Not that I necessarily want to. :-)

We are adding the yearbook pictures slowly... it's just taking me awhile to scan the yearbook pages and then crop each picture and post them. Never fear, they all will be there... whether you want them to be or not... :) tee hee...

I am at my classroom on a Sunday, I am supposed to be getting caught up and getting an Idea of what I am teaching next week, but here I am again catching up on the new posting on the web-site. it is addicting, I can't make it to the reunion, but this is the next best thing. I have laughed out loud and caught myself smiling alot. Alot of good memories are coming back. It is so great to "see" everyone. This is the best thing you guys (the reunion gang) could have done. THANKS!!!!! If I can figure out how to send in some pictures, I will have to try. Keep up the great work planning committee!!!!!

This site is the best! Who do we give our thanks to for creating it? Being techno challenged myself, I'm thoroughly impressed with this. Do the other classes from MHS have sites like this too?

I too feel like I need a 12 step program to wean myself from this site!! I was just talking to Kris Rossa (Klier) about how we seem to find ourselves back on this site when we are supposed to be working or doing something productive!
I'm looking forward to the weekend (Friday only for me since I have a prior commitment for Saturday). Nametags would be great, but the website has been helpful to be able to see recent pics of everyone.
Thanks again to Tracy and Chris for all your hard work. This website by far is the best idea yet.

Ha...I didn't know Todd or Troy could carry a tune. I have been working on my rendition of over the rainbow.

I see you are a fellow Tennesean.

Hope you all have a great reunion.

I just read most of the prior postings and I wish the reunion was this weekend! It'll be a blast! Peace.

I saw Brian Bailey's mom and she said he will be on the TODAY Show on Wednesday, Sept 24th. They're broadcasting live from William and Mary where Brian is choir director. They asked him to have a choir prepared to perform!
How cool is that??

Can't wait to see you all the reunion!

Dear Classmates of 1983:

The website is wonderful, and yes, addictive too. I've really enjoyed seeing pictures of people and reading about their lives. Doesn't 1983 seem like something that took place on another planet? Now I frequently find myself working with people who were babies then. The other day, a young woman in my office had to type a label on a typewriter, and she said, "Can you help me? I've never used one of these machines before!" Just as Tennessee Williams put it, "The world is lit by lightening now..." It boggles my mind sometimes to think about how much the world has changed. I'm sorry I won't be at the reunion. I hope that everyone has a great time! Best wishes to all. Go Maroons! - Jeff Georlett

Yeah! I just bought my plane ticket from California. I can't WAIT to see everyone! Cathy Gravitt is freaking out about walking in the parade on Friday. I told her she HAS to do it (still trying to be the boss of her 25 years later ... ha!). Come ON! It'll be more fun if everyone walks. I'll bring candy to throw (and eat).

Is anyone going to the game Friday night? Any track people wanna meet at Wharton early and see what we could do a quarter in? I could get Mr. Shipley there to time us. HAAAAAAAAAAA!! See you all two weeks from today! ???We are Moliners, we're from Moline!! ???
Deidré Dombek :)

P.S. Everyone should read Barb Ickes' column about the reunion that she wrote in the OC Times. There's a link on our home page. It's hilarious! :)
