Lisa Ahlstedt Friesen

Following high school, I attended and graduated from Trinity College in Deerfield, IL. I moved to Marietta, Georgia, and taught third grade and coached middle high basketball. I lived in the Atlanta area for six years before moving back to the Quad Cities. I subbed in the Moline school district for a year before landing a teaching job in East Moline. I married Doug Friesen in 1994 and moved to Crystal Lake, Illinois, where we have been for aost 18 years. My husband is a worship pastor and I have enjoyed staying home with our two kids as well as subbing in the school district from time to time. Both of my kids have graduated high school. My daughter is working and my son is at Judson University where he is also playing basketball. I keep busy subbing and volunteering at our church within the music ministry.
