Heather Trout (Stanger)

BOONVILLE, Mo. -- Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Heather R. Stanger, a resident of Boonville and formerly of Davenport and Moline, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Ill. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, where you are invited to join the family for a prayer service at 7 p.m. Heather died on Monday, June 28, 2004, in Columbia, Mo., the result of an automobile accident. Heather Rene Trout was born Dec. 23, 1974, in Moline, Ill., a daughter of James E. and Judy A. (Giovenazzo) Trout. She was united in marriage to Derek Allen Stanger on Feb. 24, 2001, at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. She graduated from Moline High School. The Isle of Capri Casino employed Heather for several years. She had been a Cage Cashier in Bettendorf and most recently in Boonville, Mo. She loved being a mother, and was especially proud of her children. She also loved her family and cherished the time she spent with all of her family. Memorials can be made to an Educational Fund for her children. Survivors include her husband, Derek, Boonville; and her children, Andrew and Hailie; her parents, James and Judy Trout, Moline; a brother, Tony Trout and Faith Medford; and a nephew, Brenden; her grandmother, Beverly Giovenazzo, East Moline; and grandfather, Clyde Trout, East Moline; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Diane Stanger, Davenport; two sisters-in-law, Danelle and Darcy Stanger; grandmother by marriage, Shirley Behrens, East Moline; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Her grandfather, James Giovenazzo and Uncle Tom; and Grandma Trout preceded her in death. May they rest in peace.
