Comments:

Since graduating from high school I have lived in Sweetwater, Dallas, Lewisville and Austin before moving to Mississippi in 1997.
I met my husband in Austin where I lived for 20 years. He retired from the Austin Police Dept. and we relocated in Mississippi to be close to my mom. We live in a very rural area in the country and love the quiet life here. My heart remains in Texas and I hope to move back there in the future. I have 2 children, a son now deceased and a daughter living in Georgetown TX. I have 7 grandchildren, Zach - the oldest at age 21, Tyler, Chelsea, Haley, Taylor, Kaitlyn and Austin - the youngest age 5. All my grandkids are in Texas so I don't see too much of them except through photos.
My hobbies are traveling, gardening, hand crafts, jewelry making and computers.
I was a bookkeeper for years but have retired and love to travel now that I have the freedom to do so.
I have 5 fur babies and they do keep me busy. The most challenging is my Shih Tzu Jewel Li. She is a special needs baby as she has been through open heart surgery. She is a real sweetie.
I spend my days running with my mom or planning trips with classmates or working on my computer - playing on facebook - life is good!

 Joyce Crane Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the loss of a respected and longtime employee of Joyce Crane, Ricky Potts.
I had the pleasure of working with Ricky since Joyce Crane first began in 1985 and witnessed his faithful service to our company for over 30 years.
Beginning as a field superintendent, he traveled the country on jobs from California to Texas.  After moving to management, he held a number of critical positions over the years, including financial administrator, payroll, time keeping, billing, permits, and registration of equipment, among others, and was instrumental to the success of Joyce Crane.
Ricky was born and raised in Monahans, Texas, and proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He was an avid fisherman, was sponsored by Skeeter Boats, and competed in a variety of fishing tournaments, an aspect of his life that always impressed me.
Ricky was one of a kind and truly part of the Joyce Crane family.  It was an honor to know and work beside him for so many years.  He will be greatly missed.
Services honoring the life of Ricky Potts will be this weekend at Radar Funeral Home at1617 Judson Road in Longview.  Services will begin with the viewing on Sunday, March 4, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A Chapel Service will take place the following day, Monday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. with the graveside service immediately to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Rosewood Park, 1884 FM 1844.
All of our thoughts and prayers are with Ricky’s family as they grieve the loss of truly remarkable man.

                                           Warmest Regards,
                                           Joe Bob Joyce
