Too many stories, too many memories, of possibly the most formidable and feared, yet highly respected Headmaster of Cornwall College. "Django" was also a former Headmaster of Kingston College.

Possibly because of the burden placed on him of running a school of the most cunning, clever and playfully mischievious schoolboys, I cannot remember him smiling. But he did laugh, rarely. One thing is sure...he cared deeply for his students and staff, it showed in the way that he gave his life wholesomely to the everyday activities of Cornwall College.

He was not just Headmaster, but could fill almost any post required; he taught Math, English, anytime a teacher was short or no-show, he could fill a gap. And of course, a serious disciplinarian.

He passed away on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2003.

May his soul finally rest in peace.

Brian A. Wallace.
