Comments:
I graduated from Grays Harbor College in 1991 and stayed on the Harbor until 1995 when I moved to Seattle. I had been living in Seattle for 3 years when, wanting to see the other end of the Country, I moved to South Eastern Florida in 1998. For two years I enjoyed the sun, sand, and surf and, missing my Family, moved back to Washington in 2000.
I met Jef in Seattle in 2001 and we purchased our home in Tacoma in 2002. In 2004, we exchanged vows and rings and became partners for life. We decided to expand our family and opened our hearts and homes to become licensed foster parents in 2006 and fully adopted our Son, Jordan, in 2008. We are currently (as of October, 2008) looking to increase our household by 1 and are hoping to adopt another little boy very soon.

UPDATE:
As of March 31st, 2009, our family will be bigger by one as we welcome another boy, just 2 years old. He, like Jordan before him, will be a foster to adopt placement and will, prayfully, become fully adopted soon.
UPDATE:
We lost our beloved min-pin, Crickett, in April 2009 and our dear hen, Lillie Mae, that same month. We have now expanded our family to include an 8 month old Beagle/Blue Healer mix (adopted from the Humane Society on June 2nd, 2009) and a new hen named Eunice (adopted from my Cousin on June 14, 2009).
Post Reunion speak:
It was so amazingly wonderful seeing you all at our 20th reunion! Everyone looked so good....it truly was a magical 3 days! The best of luck in whatever path life takes you all....and see you at the next reunion. Let's go for something in 5 years!
Wow, so many years and so much has happened.
In 2009 when we finally did adopt child #2 (Elliot), his mother was pregnant. That baby was born in Portland, Oregon in 2010 and it wasn't until April, 2013, that agencies came together and he joined our family here in Tacoma.
Since then, we've just been living and loving life and each other. Growing as people and as a family...growing older and (hopefully) wiser!
