Lori Stangland Gay

I went to Grays Harbor College for two years, took a year off, then went to WSU for 3 years. I was there with Debi Cutler and Matt Foscue. We raised a little hell, had a lot of fun, and made a lot of memories. I got my degree in Elementary Education. I taught school for a few years, sold insurance for a while, sold furniture for a while, and then helped run my dad's business for 7 years. I met my husband, Tracy, in 1996 and got married, had my son in 1999, and then had my daughter in 2003. I opened my restaurant, the Eagle's Nest, in Elma, in 2007. Between kids, husband, home, 3 dogs, a cat and the restaurant, I keep pretty busy.

Michelle Roos and I decided it would be fun to go camping over spring break our senior year. It rained so hard, we were soaked the entire time.

Hmm, what else? Parties at the 8 mile marker? I went to a few. Parties at Gary Murtough's house? Might have been at one or two. I remember painting the senior hall. I still have a picture of the bulldog I painted in the senior hall. I always liked hanging out at Jennifer Criswell's house, it was my home away from home. I mostly waited to find adventure until I went to WSU. I turned 21 the first day of school. Then the fun began.
