D'Andria Thornton

Well, after graduation I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I graduated in May of 2003 with my B.S in Psychology. In the Fall of that year (2003) I moved to Dallas, Texas to pursue my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling. I graduated with that degree in April of 2007. I have done substance abuse counseling, marriage and family therapy as well as inpatient psychiatric services.

WOW.....There are so many wonderful memories. I miss everyone, but the marching band trips all stand out in my mind as very memorable. I think the trip to Atlanta, to perform for the Falcons vs. 49'ers was exciting. Also when we went to Tennessee and toured the Civil Rights Museum and of course all Mardi Gras Parades were off the chain....Keeping those lines straight were hard when you're tipsy...ssshhhh. I also have fond memories of the Blue and White....I miss the old newspaper staff...Touchy Feely, Under Cover, Naughty Beige, etc....LOL. I still laugh about how creative and imaginative we all were...Shout out to Ms. Klatt, Mr. Cooper, Mr. Browning, Mr. Boyd, Ms. Peace, Mr. Cooley...and every other CRUNK teacher I had. I really do appreciate them now!!!!!!
