Wow. I went to ASU where I majored in music (vocal concentration) and theatre arts. I was apart of several plays and was an extra and hairstylist for the Rosa Parks Story starring Angela Bassett and Cicely Tyson. I I have made some mistakes but I have lived, learned, and matured in many areas. But most importantly I have learned to thank God for every blessing... the big as well as the small.
I just think back on my years at Lanier and laugh sometimes. I enjoyed my high school years with you guys...
I enjoyed playing the pre game show for the Green Bay Packers.
Mardi Gras was always jump'n!
AZ Phi was off the chain...much love to the drum section.
Oh yea how could I forget about the sax section...that was so much fun! I marched clarinet my sophomore year but my junior year I marched with alto sax. It was one of my coolest experiences. The fanfares...that section rocked!
The block formation for the band was always the hypest!!! New dances...drill week was hell though! Hot sun, squats, students puking and passing out...ahhh the fun memories...LOL
Our band trips was always so much fun!
I also loved our choir tours. I made sooo many friends at the L.
DJG formed a singing group (Dewayna, Jessica and Gegigyah) we had so much fun...
Going to the fair...
Mr. Dumcombe was cool....Mr. Cooper was fun....and I absolutely loved Mr. Robinson...
Ohhh....and the choir of 99 was the best. I don't think Lanier was ever the same after we graduated.
