Our paths crossed in one class over four years, Speech & Drama. Tony was probably like the rest of us, taking the class for a few easy credits, but when he had to get up to speak, he was so funny. Every single time!

My favorite moment was his stab at the Extemporaneous Speech. We were to draw a slip of paper out of a hat, read it aloud, then begin instantly to speak. He opened his paper, read the words, "To be or not to be," then scowled, rolled his eyes, smiled, and followed it with the line, "This is what President Kennedy said in his inaugural address." Half of the class cracked up, Mr Meledandri almost fell out of his chair laughing, but Tony smiled, pretended to be serious and gave his bogus speech with gusto and fake gravitas.  I learned a lot in those moments. Thanks, Tony.
