Marty Sperow

Can it really be thirty years ago that we graduated? I don't feel that old. After graduating from U.H.S. I went on to receieve a BS in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. I taught for four years in WV and in South Carolina when I decided to attend an Episcopal Seminary to receive an MDiv. For two years following I was the Director of College Ministry for Drummond Chapel Methodist Church.
After Drummond I went back into teaching and moved to Manassas Virginia where I have been since. It is a nice little town outside of Washington D.C. I have been working for the City of Manassas Schools for the past 15 years. For the past five years I have been a kindergarten teacher. This is my love and my passion in the teaching field.
This past April I was able to go to England and sing in several cathedrals with my church choir.
This summer I have been able to be a beach bum pretty much. It has been really nice not to have to work!

For the longest time I thought Kent Hunter's real name was Charles because that is what Carrie always called him. (I don't know the real story behind that if someone could let me know!) It wasn't until right before we graduated that I knew his real name!
