Did not attend college directly after high school graduation. Worked as a nurse assistant in the county home, saved money and went to school for LPN and from there continued on to become a RN at the Geisinger Medical Center. I'm Loving every minute working in the Pediatric Intensive Care as Administrative Team Coordinator. I work with a fantastic team of nurses and doctors.

I really hated school. I had no direction when I graduated high school. I knew I had to work because my family did not have money or the understanding of what it was like or why you needed to go to college or a trade school. Neither of my parents graduated high school. I think they went to maybe 10th grade. They had to work at an early age to help their families. My parents were poor and not educated , but they had good work ethics. They served as great role models. I give the credit to my parents for leading by example, and taught my brother and I that hard work will pay off. They are the reason for my successful life.
