graduated from ASU in 1984 and married Billl Merritt from Charlotte in 1985. just moved back to Mt Holly from Charlotte about 6 yrs ago and am constantly running in to people i haven't seen in years. didn't realize how many of us still live around our home front. Have worked for Presby Hospital for 24 years. omg that is a long time isn't it? have 4 children - 2 in college and one in Mt Holly Middle and one at Ida Rankin. my oldest daughter Emily graduates from ASU this spring. yeah!!!!!!!!
the band and the practices with RPJ. oh my gosh, every now and then i hear this particular song on the radio that RPJ had us doing on the field during half time and i can still do the routine. Fond memories of the ball games and eating at the Open Kitchen afterwards or going down to Hardees and hangin out til all hours.
Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who?
sad to say i've lost contact with a lot of my HS classmates - but talk to Laura Lawing every now and then and run in to Bobbi Neely some, too. In the summer I run into a few of us at the pool with our "kids"- who would've thought?
4 children and let's please don't say the word grandchildren yet. Need to get my last 2 out of the house (which is a long time coming) before I start the thought of that. hope I can have a breather in there somewhere- know what I mean?
