Attended NC State University. Graduated with a degree in Textile Chemistry in 1992.

1992 - 1997:
Lived in Charlotte. Worked for Clariant (formerly Sandoz) as a chemist.

1997 - 2002:
Lived in Los Angeles. Continued to work for Clariant as technical service representative. Married Jocelyn (my best friend) in October 1999.

2002 - present:
Living in Charlotte since 2002. Worked for Clariant until December 2007. Was on a working "sabbatical" (i.e. severance package) for five months. Began working for DyStar L.P. in May 2008 in business development.

School Story:

Beating Bill Robinson and Baron Brown in the "Heptathalon".

Being stupid enough to attempt any dare that anyone ever presented to me.

Being tripped by Sharon Boyles whilst playing football after a cross country meet. Sharon, I still owe you for that "accident". Watch your back!

The volleyball match of the decade: Men's Cross Country vs. Ladies' Volleyball. The guys were cheated out of a win, period.

Being the undisputed "mailbox baseball" champion of Gaston County.

My sports injuries: breaking arm at wrestling practice and being knocked unconscious while pole vaulting.
