Nancy and I left EG in 1996 and obviously it was ordained because in 1997 we adopted our children who were in foster care. I have been teaching first at North Stanly and then left and went to Albemarle Middle School for one year went on blood pressure medicine and moved to Albemarle High school. I coached football and women's basketball. I retired in 1996 and subbed some in 2007 and filled in full time for the 2007-2008 school year at West Stanly. Right now I am planning on coaching in the fall and not teaching. Nancy and I are celebrating our 25th and will take some time this summer to see the islands south of Puerto Rico. Wayne, our son is 20 and on his own and Jessica is a junior in high school. Drama, drama, drama! I am still playing a little golf, working at the church, playing bass in a blues band, doing a little work in drama, did a little color analyzing of local high school basketball for the radio, hosted a radio talk show for high school sports, picked tennis back up and am playing in a tournament soon, and riding my tractor and fooling around in my garden and yard. Other than that, I haven't been doing too much! Pics later. Not sure about attendance to the reunion- got to see how the committee votes!
