I graduated from Montclair State University in 1993 with a Bachelors in Music Education. I taught for 2 years in Manalapan-Englishtown, where I met my wonderful husband, Mike, who is now a computer teacher at their middle school.
I then changed jobs and taught for 4 years as the Orchestra Director at Summit High School and 3 of Summit's elementary schools. After we started having children in 1999, we moved to Hamilton Square to be closer to our church, Princeton Alliance Church and to Mike's job. We then decided that I'd stay at home with the children and start a Private Violin Studio to teach in the afternoons and evenings. Now I'm also the contractor for my new violin ensemble, "Tutti Dolce" that I formed in 2007 with 2 of my former students, Debbie & Emma Sadanand, who are now music majors at TCNJ & Rutgers!
School Story:
Favorite memories? Besides Graduation, how about always running late with Penny Arnold to A.P. History with Mr. Corcoran.
:-)
Being in the Orchestra & String Quartet with Peggy Watts, Alison Moyer, and Mr. Dusylovitch was always fun.
