I remember being quite shocked and saddened at Peg's sudden passing. We were good friends who had gone to school together since morning Kindergarten at Lincoln School. Her family moved to Japan for awhile when we were in Jr. High, and I believe she was in a serious car accident during that time. In high school, even though she had a boyfriend away at college, we dated casually quite a few times and just had a lot of fun. She was truly a good friend.
Peggy sat behind me (alphabetically, of course!) in Ms. Rightmire's homeroom for 2 or 3 years after she came back from Japan and we visited very morning. We went to Grove City together and became good friends there, traveled to a friend's wedding one memorable weekend after that. Her sudden and tragic death at a young age was a great loss. I have lots of fond memories of her.
