Mark and Bill Hertel remained very close after high school and I often saw Mark when I visited Bill in Pittsburgh over the years. Mark always treated me as if I never left Mt. Lebanon and I have always thought very highly of him. I was especially impressed with how he took care of his father's flower store in Mt. Lebanon and made sure things were running well. I visit Mark in the Mt. Lebanon cemetery whenever I'm in Pittsburgh and make sure to leave a stone.
