We have received information from Jeanne Benson that Linda Gogley Eaton passed away in Lawrenceville, Georgia on January 1st, 2025.  

Born on November 18th, 1942 in Gary, Indiana, Linda was the daughter of the late Charles Gogley and Katherine Gogley. At Mt. Lebanon High School she met her future husband David Morrison Eaton.  Linda graduated from Morris Harvey College in 1965 with a degree in education, and David and Linda married in 1965.

Linda’s journey in education began in Georgia's Gwinnett County School District, where she touched countless lives as a dedicated teacher. Though she stepped away for a time to support her husband’s business, pursue professional home decorating, and work in marketing, her passion for teaching never faded. She ultimately returned to the classroom at Gwinnett County Community College.

Linda is survived by a daughter, a son and a grandson.
