We have learned that Barbara Mehaffey Jocoy passed away on October 20, 2023 in Wadsworth, Ohio.

She was born in Pittsburgh on May 6, 1943. After graduation from Mt. Lebanon, she graduated with a degree in Home Economics from Penn State, and went on to obtain a master's degree from Cornell. She was a home economics teacher and taught at multiple schools throughout Western New York. 

Barbara married Edward Jocoy in 1968, and they raised their family of three daughters in Buffalo.

She is survived by her daughters and grandchildren.  The family established The Mehaffey Scholarship Fund, Sunset Hills Presbyterian Church, 900 Country Club Drive, Mt. Lebanon, PA 15228 in her memory.
