David Mercer died on 28 June 2017 in Tampa, Florida after suffering a series of strokes.  He is survived by his wife Bonnie, sons David and John, and seven grandchildren.

Dave was a hard working veteran who survived Vietnam as a Marine.  Tough as nails, and a devoted family man to his wife, children, and grandchildren. Simply the best.
