Brian Walberg, born on July 15th, 1957 passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Northwestern Memorial Hospital on Sunday, October 18th, 2020. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Walberg and grandson, Olin D’Ambrosia. Brian is survived by his wife, Nancy Walberg nee Bender, mother Barbara Walberg nee Swanson, daughter Kristin D’Ambrosia, (John), grandson Vance D’Ambrosia, daughter Barbara Powell, (Mark), daughter Carolyn Reed, (Zach), granddaughter Elin Reed, his sisters, Nancy and Susan, and several nieces and nephews.

Brian was a graduate of Prospect High School (Class of '75) and Western Illinois University ('81). He enjoyed fishing, camping, vacationing at the family cabin in the UP, reading the newspaper, watching sports, sampling craft beer and spending time with his immediate and extended family. In 2019, Brian was the recipient of a double lung transplant at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
