R. Coughlan, 51, wil be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Aug. 21, at the Lauterburg & Dehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights.  Interment will be pri-vate.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m today, August 20th, at the funeral home.

Born June 25, 1957, in Redwood City, Calit, he died Sunday, Aug 17, 2006, at home surrounded by his family.

He attended Devry Institute of Technology. He was the owner of Preferred Garage Door in Artington Heights.

He was the beloved son of the late John and Lois (nee Keller) Coughlan, loving brother of John Cougthlan of Chicago, Julie (Rob) Kirby of Longmont, Colo., Mary Coughilan of Ettrick, Wis., Thomas Coughlan of Palatine and William Coughlan of McHenry; dear uncle of Dustin Schmidt, Ann Alcaraz, Camille Hoimes, John Coughian Jr. and Elizabeth Coughlan.
