Comments:

Rett and I lived in Kokomo for about a year and 1/2 after we married in 1989. This is where he started working for DuPont and I worked for a Pediatric Dentist.

A job transfer in 1991, with DuPont, is how we ended up in Delaware. At first, it was scary to think about leaving Indiana and all of our family but once out there it was the best thing we could have done for ourselves and careers. Before making the permanent move, I found a great job with Mike Rosen D.D.S. and it was working here, that made me realize how the standard of care should really be. After 4 yrs of living there we decided we wanted to start having a family, and this is where our first son Alex was born, July 1995.
We enjoyed the East Coast and made a ton of new friends, that we still keep in touch with. However, Rett decided it was time to move on with the company and transfer once again in 1998 to Michigan. After about a month of getting to know Michigan, I started working for Ban Barbat D.D.S. and have been with her ever since. We have a beautiful practice in Shelby Township. I have attended the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, where we, as a staff of 15, received our certification in Full Mouth Reconstruction. It's truly amazing how we have changed peoples lives through comprehensive dental treatment.
In 2007 Rett decided to leave DuPont and start over with a new company, PPG Industries. Same line of work but all around better for him.

It had been about 6 years since we had moved to Michigan, so we decided we would try for child #2, as we were not getting any younger!! We finally had Jacob in June 04, and this made our family complete! Both of our boys have a love for sports. Alex, plays football for his school team the Bemis Spartans and plays basketball for an AAU travel team, which keeps us very busy. For the last three years, he has attended the Steve Alford Camp at Franklin College, in Indiana and has really enjoyed it. Jacob who just turned 4 has been dribbling a basketball since he was 2 (Yes I am serious) you would have to see it to believe it. There isn't a sport he doesn't like playing. However, basketball is his favorite...right up there next to "Wii Sports"...of course!

School Story:

Let's see...All the "tuff" guys standing against the wall in between classes.

Mr. Cash.....need I to say more?

Mr. Smith... with his hand in front of his face and so jumpy almost giving his students a heart attack. You just had to love him!!!!

Poor Mrs. Kirby, Mike Miller and Burke Warman always picking on her and making her cry.

I married Burke in a "mock wedding" in Mrs. Kirby's class, and still have the pictures.

Junior Gard selling Jacks Donuts before school..

The "buttons" we could design ourselves, I think Mrs Poffenberger, Razor, Gardner...(that is the last name I remember her having) made them in the library.
