Donna Jeffries Cornish

I graduated as and Elementary Ed. major from Northwest College in Kirkland in 1988. Then I taught in Okinawa Japan for 2 years, where I met Jerry who was in the Marine Corps. We got married and moved to Albany, Georgia where I taught in a public school for 2 years. Then Jerry got out of the military and we moved to Dallas, Texas. I taught in the Dallas Independent School District for 2 years before switching to a private school for 5 years. Then Melody was born and I decided to stay at home. Other teachers asked me if I was going to homeschool her. I said, "No way!" But when the time came, I tried it and love it. Now I homeschool both the girls.
