Shelley Sain Thornton

Graduated from Texas Tech 1990. Assistant band director in Borger til 1992. I moved to amarillo and started working at Wal-Mart, became jewelry/shoes district manager until 1998. Met Les, got married in 1999. Callie was born in 2000, Cole in 2001. Had the best job of my life as a stay at home mom until 2005. Callie started kindergarten and I started teaching elementary music in Claude. We moved to Claude Christmas of '05. I took the band director position the next year and here we are today.

My favorite memories are the band ones of course. Winning the outstanding band at Tech Marching Festival, going to Area Marching Contest, winning Sweepstakes - those were the "good times!"
