Jan. 23, 1970 – March 19, 2009. Suddenly, at his home. Born in Lancaster, Ohio, "Tony" grew up in Murfreesboro, TN, graduated from Riverdale High School and Middle Tennessee State University; married Candace Renee Curry; children, Rebecca Patricia, Olivia Curry, Forrest Samuel, all of Columbia, SC.; parents, Henry Matthew Ward and Patricia Porterfield Ward; brother, Jeff (Kim) Ward; nephews and nieces, Matthew Stephen, Austin Michael, Kylie Brooke, Colby Joseph, all of Murfreesboro.
Visitation 3 p.m. Thursday, followed by Memorial Services 5 p.m. Thursday at: Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Murfreesboro. Woodfin Memorial Chapel, 615-893-5151

I attended Campus School and Riverdale with Tony. He was very talented and had a funny sense of humor. If I remember correctly, he was "Grand Poobah" of the Future Nuclear Physicists of America!
