I first met Susan at Campus school when we were in 4th grade. What an awesome person. We got into more stuff than we should have. She was always more concerned abut others feelings than her own. She made everyone feel special. Between my house, alisons house, and yvonnes house we were together every weekend. We rode bikes, skated, went to the movies, swam at the moose lodge, made prank phone calls, maybe rolled a few yards. Those were the good days. Now she is here in spirit only. I can remember the dreams she had prior to her death. She was walking down a dark long tunnel with a light at the end that she could never reach. I wonder sometimes if she finally made it to the light.
Beth...I'm with you! I first met Susan at Campus School. I remember having birthday parties together, including one at the Skate Center. We had so much fun. I still write my cursive S's like Susan did and taught me to do in the fifth grade. And for some random reason, I remember her doing a report on Ponce' de Leon!! Ha ha. While Susan and I didn't run around nearly as much in at Central and Oakland, we always loved each other. I still have a 5x7 from when she got a free sitting and Pat Bordash, Chris Hutchins, Ben Simmons, Tracy Allen, Don Gandy, and me all got our pictures made together. We still miss her!
I met Susan at Campus School. She was a lot of fun! Like Beth, I remember lots of fun times with Susan. I can still hear her laugh! She had a really positive personality and you enjoyed being around her.
