Roy Whitcomb Horton, 64, of Marble, died suddenly the morning of Monday, June 27, 2016.
    He was a native of Cherokee County, the son of the late Laura and Fred Horton of Marble.
    Roy was a carpenter and jack of all trades. He was of the Baptist faith and loved by many.
    Surviving are his wife, Debra Horton; son, Jonathan Horton; five grandkids, Austin, Hunter, Madison, Gabe and Delilah; nine siblings; and many family and friends.
    Funeral arrangements have not been made.
