School Story:
I have many memories of MHS!! Some of them include: playing soccer when no one thought girls could play (and winning state!), acting in many plays, writing for the newspaper, cheering on our amazing basketball ladies, cheering on our talented swimmers, AP European History, speech class (who can hear the pennies hitting the metal bucket every time you uttered an um or ah?), the very sexist history teacher (not a fond memory but one that made me determined that I'd succeed being a girl even!), Mr. Hutchison, Mr. Airola, Mrs Reed and Mrs Helmold (some of my favorite teachers), traveling to Taos, New Mexico with Judd Anderson, Craig Reischauer, Bob Lenz and ??, meeting President Bush after serving on his campaign, skipping school and driving to Davenport on my school permit to go shopping, acting out the Brady Bunch in French class, and so much more!!
