So CJ, does this mean you don't get the money or free vacations from them? If so, I would raising some cane. We all like free stuff.

Susan couldn't go to the ocean with us but is going with a guy! What kind of friend is that. Just kidding Susan. Hope you have fun.

I don't remember getting up this early when I was a kid.
I don't remember our kids getting up this early.
I even put blankets over their windows so their room would be dark.
I made a point to keep the little people up until ten last night,so they would be sleep deprived and be forced to sleep in.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE CHILDREN THAT THEY THINK THEY HAVE TO BE UP AT 6:24?

Help!

Signed,
Sleepless in Independence.

Everyone has a kid story. Here is mine. Peyton, the 4 year old, loves the movie CARS, so much that he has wore out 2 DVD's. In the movie the big car race is to win the Piston Cup. But Peyton can't say his "T" Piston with out the "T", is...well, you get it. I ask Peyton what is the name of the race and he tells me. This verbal exchange has kept me in trouble with his mother and his grandmother.

Cambryn is back home after spending the past 10 days in Muskogee. It will probably take all summer long to un-spoil her.

I can't believe I didn't get to wish Leslie HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! on the real day. So this wish is double powered!

I had a boy this year named Jesus (hey suse) and one day a girl in class came running around the corner from the water fountains yelling 'Jesus knocked Kailey down!!!' but she wasn't saying his name the Hispanic way. The kids looked at me when I laughed like I was some mean person that didn't care about Kailey.

You're as mean as Jesus is Joanie.

Jesus was a very nice young man. He was just a little big and clumsy.

Zane played Jesus in an Easter Play. His friends have entered his name as Jesus in their phones. Zane doesn't look like Jesus. The title hasn't gone to his head, but he does expect front door parking at Walmart now.

I just came across this on YouTube. Who remembers, "My Sharona?" When I enlisted in the Army in 1979, there was a juke box (remember those too?) at the reception station. It was in the recreation room next to the Coke machine and pool table. Only problem was, it was broken. It did not matter what buttons you pushed, the ONLY song it played was "My Sharona." After day 2 we unplugged the damn thing because new guys would keep coming in a putting quarters in the juke box. Enjoy.

OK, here is the banana pudding recipe from the party.

Not Yo’ Mama’s Banana Pudding

Ingredients:
1 12-ounce container frozen whipped topping thawed
1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
2 cup milk
1 5-ounce box instant French vanilla pudding
6-8 bananas, sliced
2 bags Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies
________________________________________
Directions:
Line the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch dish with 1 bag of cookies and layer bananas on top.
In a bowl, combine the milk and pudding mix and blend well using a handheld electric mixer. Using another bowl, combine the cream cheese and condensed milk together and mix until smooth. Fold the whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture. Add the cream cheese mixture to the pudding mixture and stir until well blended. Pour the mixture over the cookies and bananas and cover with the remaining cookies. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Yield: 12 servings
Preparation time: 30 minutes

Ok what I do. I use 2 of the small boxes of pudding. I can’t be wasteful, it’s a little over 6 ounces that way. Instead of the Pepperidge farm chessmen cookies which only Walmart carries some of the time, and are $3.00 a package, I get the butter cookies that look like flowers at Walmart which are $1.18 a package and it takes one package.
