Happy Belated B'day, Andrea Bibby (and the 'new' girls.)!...I'm so glad I got to see you briefly at the reunion and cut a rug (quite literally, probably!) with you and the ever ducky Ms. Kim Hine! Sorry I was not up to David Sedaris' standards in comebacks for bad homophobic puns made by that strange person in the hallway (who WAS that, anyway? The hubby of a classmate?)...I'm just too nice to get down and low sometimes (though I'm sure you'd have liked to see me eviscerate the buffoon!)...Hope you are doing well - you were just gorgeous and tres elegant and I hope you're still enjoying Texas, though I'm sure you miss New York.

It's a sad day. Uncle Zeb died today. :(

Tresa Reeder (Davis)

that is sad. I like Mr. Zing and Tuffy better though

08/19/09 08:54 AM #3102

Lynda Hambrick

Who is uncle Zeb?

08/19/09 08:55 AM #3103

a biker funny for you.........

Reverend Boudreaux was the part-time pastor of the local Cajun Baptist Church
and Pastor Thibodaux was the minister of the Covenant Church across the road.

They were both standing by the road, pounding a sign into the ground, that read:

'Da End is Near Turn Yo Sef 'Roun Now Afore It Be Too Late!'

As a biker sped past them, the rider put his fist in the air and yelled, 'You religious nuts!

From the curve they heard screeching tires, and a big splash........

Boudreaux turns to Thibodaux and asks,
'Do ya tink maybe da sign should jussay.....'Bridge Out!?'

i was on mr. zing and tuffy! during commercials mr. zing would be memorizing all the kids' names so he could call them out during the show. he couldn't remember mine on the air. :( then i didn't even get to say it because some other kid yelled it out first.

i'm without a computer for several days but i'll try to check in once a day.

NOOOOOOO, not Uncle Zeb!!!! I think I can still make Hank the Squirel. I loved the end when all the kids got to say "Hi" to their familys.

Julie Stiglets (Reagle)

My children were on Uncle Zeb--I have it on VHS somewhere

Julie,
say what?
I thought Zeb was mean to the kids who couldn't think of anything to say at the end of the show.

How long was Uncle Zeb/aka Carl Bartholowmue, on the air? I thought he was there when we were kids, I didn't realize he was still there doing the show for our children.

Remember when weather men on TV didn't have enough information to fill a five minute forecast and had to resort to drawing pictures or talking to puppets?

For the record: My mother still has my rainy day "Gusty"

I was also on "Mr. Zing and Tuffy" (with my late younger brother, Harley)! What was the name of actor who portrayed Mr. Zing?

Who was the actor who portrayed Mazeppa Pompazoidi? It was a former drama student at MHS (several years before us, of course), but I can't recall his name...

That's too sad about 'Uncle Zeb"...may he rest in peace

Tresa, that sign you saw on the overpass was just too funny for words! But I'm glad you didn't run off the road, darlin'!

Also with Mezeppa was Teddy Jack Eddie (aka Gary Busey) who played Buddy Holly. He also toured with Leon Russel. I loved the late night Uncanny Film Fest.

I always thought Leon Russell was really AKA "Cousin It"
